Scriptures for February 24th

Exodus 22:24 - and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. (NKJV)

Do not, I repeat, Do not make God angry!


Exodus 2:24 - So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. (NKJV)

God does hear us when we cry out to Him!


Genesis 2:24 - Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (NKJV)

Exodus 35 - Let The Willing Giving Begin!

  Moses gathered all the congregation of the Israelites together and told them the words which the Lord commanded them to do. Work was allowed for six days, but the seventh day was to be a holy day for them, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Whoever did any work on the Sabbath was to be put to death.  Wow! How many of us would now be dead?  They weren't even allowed to kindle a fire in their dwellings on the Sabbath day. Moses also told the Israelites that the Lord commanded that an offering be taken for Him from whoever was of a willing heart to bring gold, silver, and bronze .
