Genesis 35:7 – And he built an altar there and called the place El Bethel, because there God appeared to him when he fled from the face of his brother.  (NKJV) Do you have a sacred place where you can spend time alone with God? Genesis 1 5:7  – Then He said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”  (NKJV) Has God ever brought you out of something to give you a blessing? Leviticus  5:5  – ‘And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing;  (NKJV) Do you readily confess your sins? Exodus 3 5:5  – ‘Take from among you an offering to the Lord. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze;  (NKJV) Do you give your offerings to the Lord with a willing heart? Leviticus 25:4 – but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.  (NKJV) God even wants the land to have a time of rest from sowing and pruning. Leviticus  5:4  – ‘Or if a person swears, speaking thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, whatever it is that a man may pronounce by an oath, and he is unaware of it – when he realizes it, then he shall be guilty in any of these matters.  (NKJV) Be careful of what you say. Exodus 15:3 – The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name.   (NKJV) Let God fight your battles! Genesis 3 5:3  – Then let us arise and go up to Bethel; and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me in the way which I have gone.”  (NKJV) In distress?
