Genesis 35:7 – And he built an altar there and called the place El Bethel, because there God appeared to him when he fled from the face of his brother.  (NKJV) Do you have a sacred place where you can spend time alone with God? Leviticus 25:4 – but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.  (NKJV) God even wants the land to have a time of rest from sowing and pruning. Leviticus  5:4  – ‘Or if a person swears, speaking thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, whatever it is that a man may pronounce by an oath, and he is unaware of it – when he realizes it, then he shall be guilty in any of these matters.  (NKJV) Be careful of what you say.
