Scriptures for December 31st

Deuteronomy  12:31  – You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.   (NKJV) Be careful of your practices when worshiping God! Deuteronomy  12:30  – take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? Deuteronomy 12:27 - And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the meat and blood, on the altar of the Lord your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the Lord your God, and you shall eat the meat. (NKJV) Remember to give your offerings to the Lord as instructed. Exodus  12:27  – that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.'” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped.   (NKJV) When is the last time you worshiped the Lord for what He has already done? Scriptures for December 26th

Proverbs 12:26 - The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. (NKJV) Choose those you call friends very carefully.   Exodus  12:25  – It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service.  (NKJV) God keeps His promises, so keep worshiping Him in obedience. 2 Samuel 12:24 - Then David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in to her and lay with her.  So she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon.  Now the Lord loved him, (NKJV) Spouses should grow closer together in times of sadness. 1 Samuel  12:24  – Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.  (NKJV) Reverence and serve God in heartfelt truthfulness for He has done great things for you!   Deuteronomy  12:21  – If the place where the Lord your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, then you may slaughter from your herd and from your flock which the Lord has given you, just as I have commanded you, and you may eat within your gates as much as your heart desires. 1 Samuel 12:20 - Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear.  You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. Deuteronomy  12:20  – “When the Lord your God enlarges your border as He has promised you, and you say, ‘Let me eat meat,’ because you long to eat meat, you may eat as much meat as your heart desires. 2 Samuel 12:19 - When David saw that his servants were whispering, David perceived that the child was dead.  Therefore David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” And they said, “He is dead.” (NKJV) God will comfort those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. 1 Samuel  12:19  – And all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves.”  (NKJV) Do you ask others to seriously pray for you? Scriptures for December 10th

1 Samuel  12:10  - Then they cried out to the Lord, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord and served the Baals and Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.’ (NKJV) Even after sinning, you can always turn back to God for deliverance. 1 Samuel  12:9  - And when they forgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.  (NKJV) If you forget the Lord, you risk falling into the enemies’ hands. Numbers  12:8  - I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord.
