Bible Reading Made Different

1 Samuel 12:20 - Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear.  You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. (NKJV) Even when you’ve done wrong, you can still follow and serve the Lord because He is merciful. Deuteronomy  12:20  – “When the Lord your God enlarges your border as He has promised you, and you say, ‘Let me eat meat,’ because you long to eat meat, you may eat as much meat as your heart desires. 2 Samuel 12:19 - When David saw that his servants were whispering, David perceived that the child was dead.  Therefore David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” And they said, “He is dead.” (NKJV) God will comfort those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. 1 Samuel  12:19  – And all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves.”  (NKJV) Do you ask others to seriously pray for you? 1 Samuel 12:15 - However, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you, as it was against your fathers. Deuteronomy  12:12  – And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you.   (NKJV) When is the last time you and your family worshiped the Lord together? 1 Samuel 12:12 - And when you saw that Nahash king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the Lord your God was your king.   1 Samuel  12:11  - And the Lord sent Jerubbaal, Bedan, Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side; and you dwelt in safety.   (NKJV) When God delivers you from your enemies, you will dwell in safety. Deuteronomy  12:11  - then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. 1 Samuel  12:10  - Then they cried out to the Lord, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord and served the Baals and Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.’ (NKJV) Even after sinning, you can always turn back to God for deliverance. Deuteronomy  12:10  - But when you cross over the Jordan and dwell in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that you dwell in safety,  (NKJV) Trust God's guidance for blessings and protection. 1 Samuel  12:9  - And when they forgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.  (NKJV) If you forget the Lord, you risk falling into the enemies’ hands. Numbers  12:8  - I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. 1 Samuel  12:7  - Now therefore, stand still, that I may reason with you before the Lord concerning all the righteous acts of the Lord which He did to you and your fathers : (NKJV) Never forget the Lord’s righteous acts for you. 1 Kings  12:6  - Then King Rehoboam consulted the elders who stood before his father Solomon while he still lived, and he said, “How do you advise me to answer these people?”   (NKJV) Do you seek wise counsel from your elders? Deuteronomy  12:5  - “But you shall seek the place where the Lord your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go.  (NKJV) Go where God leads you! Numbers  12:5  - Then the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. Deuteronomy  12:4  - You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things.  (NKJV) Be mindful of how you worship the Lord!
